The Minato is not a train but I am including it here because it is designed by Eiji Mitooka. Some of his most famous works include Rokumon and Seven Stars in Kyushu. Like his other creations, the streetcar is absolutely gorgeous inside and out.
It is operated by the city of Nagasaki. Their website offers a live tracking of all the streetcars so you can try to catch it. It’s very popular among the locals so be prepared to stand. It looks empty in the pictures only because I rode it to the last stop for everyone to get off.
